How we scaled Jen’s online program with strategy

GOALS

Jen Ritchie, shopify expert, was looking to increase the sign-up rate for her online academy. With skills in web design, her business is targeted to help entrepreneurs build beautiful ecom brands that sell. On average, her launches were around $20k but she wanted to connect with more clients that would sign up for her 12-month academy group program.

When Jen approached me about increasing her sales, I thought, let me work my magic…

…and by magic I mean:

  • Add punch, persuasion, and Jen’s personality to her copy

  • Highlight benefits of Jen’s program

  • Create a strategic flow and sequences for the journey her clients were about to experience

How we started…

First things first- we had a strategy session…

This looked like:

  • Setting goals for sales and listing tasks that needed to be done

  • Defining a flow for a persuasive reading experience for new clients and affiliate partners

  • Organizing specific steps in a timeline so we always knew what to do next

 
 

How we followed up…

That strategy turned into…

  • Rewriting landing pages and email sequences for new boot campers and affiliates that were fun, sassy, and compelling. Our goal was to convert boot campers to buy into Jen’s academy.

  • Show-casing Jen’s skills and personality through persuasive writing to excite all involved in Jen’s business

  • Writing landing pages and email sequences for affiliates to become successful referral partners. We wanted to create an online environment that benefitted everyone through paid partnerships.

How we reached our goals…

There was scrapping, rewriting of tag lines, creating a better story flow, adding punchiness and sass, with a dash of persuasion, and Jen’s personality, then we finally had it… an online platform that was converting and selling!
